<b>Café Häferl: Kaffeehaushimmel in Vorchdorf</b><br/><br/>Wie vom Wiener Kaffeehaushimmel gefallen und durch einen glücklichen Zufall in Vorchdorf gelandet präsentiert sich das Café Häferl am Schlossplatz 8. Caféliebhaberinnen und -liebhaber finden in diesem gemütlichen Prachtexemplar von einem Wiener Café alles, was es für einen g'schwinden Kaffee oder eine ausgedehnte Sitzung braucht: nach allen Regeln der Kaffeesiedekunst zubereitete österreichische Kaffeespezialitäten, eine großzügige Auswahl an Zeitungen und Zeitschriften, feine süße und pikante Kleinigkeiten sowie auch am Sonntag frisches Gebäck. Auf der kleinen Karte des Hauses finden sich Klassiker der Kaffeehausküche. Da wünscht man guten Appetit zum Beispiel auf Frankfurter oder Debreziner, den guten alten Toast Hawaii, das ebenfalls getoastete Hausweckerl oder ein schnelles Mittagessen à la Hausmann.<br/><br/>Ein Zugeständnis, und zwar an die Kaffeehausliteraten und Projektenmacher von heutzutage, ist das flotte W-Lan. Und weil's ein Café ist und keine Konditorei, hat das Häferl im Sommer auch bis am späten Abend offen. Hier will man schließlich außerhalb der eigenen vier Wände daheim sein. <br/><br/>Im Sommer liegt eine Eiskarte auf; der Schani sperrt den lauschigen Gastgarten auf der Veranda auf, und über die Budel gereichtes Tüteneis aus Konditorhand gibt's obendrein.<br/><br/>All das ist einerseits ganz traditionell und andererseits doch neu. Und umgekehrt. Nicht nur, was die Pflege der Kaffeehauskultur betrifft. Auch als Kaffeehaus schreibt das Café Häferl ein jahrzehntelanges Stück Lokalgeschichte weiter. Denn das Häferl mit seiner jungen Einrichtung und Ausstattung ist seit November 2014 zwar ein absolutes Novum im Ort, setzt aber eine Traditionslinie fort. Schließlich ist schon seit 1934 an der Adresse Schlossplatz 8 (fast) durchgehend ein Café zu finden gewesen. An diese goldenen Zeiten wieder stil- und glanzvoll anzuknüpfen, das haben sich Hausbesitzer Reinhard Danner und Cafetier Stefan Windischbauer zusammen vorgenommen – und so ein Stück vom Wiener Kaffeehaushimmel über Vorchdorf aufgespannt.
