Ideally, they are located so that you can explore the historic centre and its attractions on foot.

Modernity meets old walls

A perfect example of this is the hotel "Das Tigra". This is where the best of the past and modernity come together. The hotel consists of a historic building from the 16th century, in which Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and his family briefly resided, and a modern part of the building. The rooms are comfortably furnished and lovingly decorated. It also manages the feat of a quiet, yet central location in the city centre of Vienna.

The "Motel One bei der Staatsoper" is located in another historic building. Here you will find oak parquet flooring and stucco work with irresistible old building charm at a reasonable price. If the Viennese waltz is not enough for you, you can watch excerpts from ballet performances or concerts on screens in the lounge. The comfortable rooms boast an understated design with a high feel-good factor. Although the hotel is located in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city, the rooms are very quiet.

Hotel with a mission

The "Magdas" is a very special hotel. As a "social business hotel", it brings people from all over the world together and also offers jobs and training in catering and hotel professions to refugees. In addition to the social aspect worth supporting, the hotel impresses with vintage de luxe.

The designers from BWM Designers + Architects have restored many old pieces of furniture, some of which are original, and cleverly integrated them into the new design. The partition wall in the event room and all the lamps and clothes racks are found objects from the building. Some of the bedheads were also made from this old wood. The wooden elements on the bar come from a former confessional. The suites were designed with original furniture from the 1960s. Many pieces have been reinterpreted and reupholstered, but always in keeping with the old spirit.

Design & Zeitgeist

What do the hotels "Ruby Marie", "Maxx bei Steigenberger" and "Roomz Vienna" have in common? That's right, they are inspiring, stylish and cozy. "Lean Luxury" is what they call it at the "Ruby Marie", because luxury for guests doesn't always have to be expensive - that's the hotel's philosophy. The rooms mix vintage with an almost purist style. There is plenty of variety in the hotel bar; from live bands to aperitivo evenings.

Guests can expect understated luxury at the city and design hotel "Maxx bei Steigenberger", which opened in 2019. The hotel was designed by David Chipperfield and Matteo Thun. It is located in the fifth district and is a good starting point for a city trip. After a strenuous day of sightseeing and shopping, a spa area with steam bath, fitness centre and sauna offers the perfect place to relax.

"Roomz" is located near the Vienna Prater. The hotel promises not only relaxing hours in the countryside, but also modern architecture and well thought-out design with many amenities. The hotel has a fitness centre and a restaurant to make your stay even more comfortable.

Young and dynamic

The "arte Hotel Wien" stands for art and lifestyle as well as casual living in contemporary design. The furnishings are chic and urban, spiced up with original individual pieces. The style appeals above all to young people who are looking for an uncomplicated, trendy hotel with a modern ambience for their trip to Vienna. The rooms are named after musical styles, which also correspond to the respective furnishing style. Do you like rock and roll or jazz? Thanks to its location near the Stadthalle, you can combine your stay with a visit to a concert.
