Tenuta di Castellaro

Falstaff Wine Guide Italy 2024

Tenuta di Castellaro is a small winery on the volcanic island of Lipari, north-east Sicily. The organic and vegan wines are produced in a unique environment in which the wind, sea, volcanic soil and the Alberello cultivation method are the main protagonists. The winery is built according to sustainable criteria and is energy self-sufficient. The winery has established the new terroir of Lipari wine through the exclusive use of indigenous grape varieties such as Corinto Nero and Malvasia delle Lipari, obtained from a long selection process.
